Thanks Pat, for your quick response. Is this is a blue Tilapia ? Definitely I will be using this forum, I have an 1/2 acre pond that I just deepened and cleaned. Thanks again, Miguel

Looks to be... we don't see the blue ones in Texas, least I haven't. Maybe Bobby Rice or Rainman will chime in on what species it is

Tilapia for sure. The species are pretty hard to correctly identify to species especially since they hybridize and yours are dead which masks the characters often used or needed for photo identification.

Definitely has Blue Tilapia genetics. Looks crossed with Mozambique with the shallower body depth. Only Blue Tilapia are allowed to be possessed in FL.
