I bought a new place and have many small sapling(1 to 5 inches) cut. They have been drying out for a month now. I was planning to trim all the branches and make log cabin type structures with them. Will enough tannins leach out to cause problems in a 1 acre and 2 acre spring fed pond?

If you are concerned and have low alkalinity (< 30) you can add ag lime or pelleted lime to offset any acidic tree content.

They will act as a fish magnet! The larger area of habitat you provide, the larger number of fish can inhabit it. Go big and give em' some real tight spots to get fat!
