I have about 145' of land I need to build up 18" at the ponds' edge so I can mow with my Zero Turn. I want it to last for 20+ years, should I consider the higher costs of Vinyl bulkhead or would a timber one work? No wave on 1 acre pond. Anyone have some designs on how to build one of timber? Thanks!

I doubt timber will last that long.
They also make interlocking steel panels like the vinyl ones, we have had one in for 40 years now and it's still going strong.
