Heres a picture of the bottom covered in lime stone This spring house is normaly submerged in the pond So I added a layer of cement blocks to raise it up a little. It also Has a very large hole in the bottom making it possible to fill it with lime stone so that I can let the spring water seep through a bunch of lime into the bottom of the pond that should raise the ph At the right side of this picture you can see where the water comes out of the ground and then goes through some pipes into the pond. After I fill the old spring house with lime stone I will Have to redirect the pipes so that they pour water above the spring house but that shouldn't be too hard.

Looks great, SP! You've really put your heart (and no doubt a lot of sweat!) into that project - I love it!

SP impressive. I sure hope you get some rain and more flow soon!
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Thankyou I sure did put a lot of work into it so far Last summer I spent nearly 4 hours a day almost every day digging not to mention all of the time I spent listening to my mom wining about having to wash my muddy cloths Thank you Cecil I hope I get at least a little more flow soon too this is what the pond looks like full for comparison

SP, Getting some of this rain that we are? It has been a nice slow rain with runoff. Finally, its been a long, dry spring. Hope you are.
Did your buddy help you get the limestone to your pond, or did you use the wheelbarrow?

No He didn't help me get the lime stone but a couple of months ago he and I made a road down to the pond just wide enough for a 4 wheeler or a lawn tractor So I was able to haul it down to the pond with the tractor then spread it by hand.
Yes we are getting a little bit of rain but not very much so far it's just been a light sprinkle then again it's better than nothing at all.

After adding about two tons of lime stone to my pond it's finally alkaline with a ph of 7.4. It should now hold rainbow and brown trout witch will be stocked this fall after the renovation project.
