I admit the hand holding was staged...but we thought it might make a good snap for Mom and Gma. That old cottonwood has to be nigh a century old and on still days allows a nice reflection photo on the pond. Sunsets out at my place are often times brilliant - this was really a doozy, tho. One good thing about living in the plains, we often have an unobstructed view of the horizon!

That pic was snapped right before they pushed each other into the pond!
TJ, the sunset last night was amazing, and the sunrise this a.m. wasn't too far behind it! I watched it come up in my rear view mirror on the West side or Kearney. Sitting in the hotel in Montrose, Co. right now.
I can't believe all the deer that were splatted on I-80 thru the whole western part of Ne.
