I've got some burrows right by shore. I tried digging out a hole and got nothing so I can't say if these were the crawfish living in the holes (in fact I kind of doubt it because these guys looked pretty small and the holes were fairly large).
I caught several guys and most looked similar and but these two were representative of the ones I caught. I don't know if these two were the same or not, they looked fairly similar but the colors were slightly different. There are 2 different crawfish pictured.
To be honest, I'd guess these are the papershells I put in a few years back and I'm guessing something else is responsible for the holes.
