I have one of those guys periodically on the pond....I guess they can really take a toll on the fish but I just can't force myself to run him/her off.

My fake alligator has been very effective against this type of bird, but it has not been nearly as effective against the Herons that walk the shoreline. Water Turkey/Diving Bird = 90% solved Herons = 35% improvement. I am thrilled the "water turkey" problem is solved.  Alligator Decoy
Fishing has never been about the fish....
