I caught a pound and half CC today on a small black fat-boddied fly. It was chilly and overcast today, and nothing was doing in the pond. That was my only strike.

Dave, doesn't Ft. Worth have an aquarium? I'm sure you could find someplace selling a Snoopy rod/reel combo.

We made it for the weekend. Biggest BG landed was almost 11 inches. Charlene hooked another one that looked bigger but got off at the bank.

That's a BIG BG in my book. My pond is producing 9" BG this year, and they're the biggest I've ever caught. On a light fly rod, they are a hand full.
