This is a two part question. If a Male only bluegill pond is built, what happens around spawning time? Will the bull males still make disc for non existent females? Will they guard the nest for length of time or abandon the spawning area?
Second question female LMB only body of water, is difficult to obtain. What happens if I female doesn't find a male nesting site? What happens to the egg mass? Will the eggs reabsorb or will the be dropped even with out a nesting site?

Male only BG will build a nest and not stay on the nest site as long as when females and eggs are present. Eggs that are not laid will be reabsorbed.
