First, this was supposed to be some pics for Bill D and help with ID'ing WAE sex but as it turned out we only sampled 13 walleye and all were males so I'm linking a few pics of what happens when you have a remnant population of smallies in an impoundment with LMB but conditions decline and the LMB nearly disappear. We started seeing these this spring with size and mass and it's cool to see how this impoundment has changed since filling in 1995.
I'm betting you can identify the 3rd fish as well.
