Is anybody else having issues with staying logged in on the forums? I log in, then go to post and I am logged out within seconds of logging in. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this.

Yeah, I am. But, it doesn't happen everytime.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

Happened to me once since the new forum.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will either add pond boss to my IE cookies or switch browsers.

Thanks for the advice guys. I will either add pond boss to my IE cookies or switch browsers. I don't think we know the answer just yet. The moderators started to report it to each other a day or two ago. From a Pond Boss volunteer standpoint, I'd like to ask that you have patience. I'm sure this will be solved. Dwight is the best of the best when it comes to problems like this, but he also has a "real job." So does Bob Lusk -- he is trying to get the next issue of Pond Boss out to the printers after a difficult week in South Dakota. The forum is still a "labor of love" for many volunteers, and I don't think it is yet paying for itself. I'm not getting logged off when I've got the site open. But, I do have to re-log in periodically after I exit the site after closing down a browser. All are in the "remember me" mode. I'm using Chrome, Firefox, and Opera on my Windows 7 and 8 computers. My Nexus 7 Android tablet uses Chrome and Firefox. My super-nerd Android phone only uses Chrome. This issue is happening randomly on all of them. I'm just not seeing a pattern of when it drops me so that I have to relog. I'm on one other UBB-system forum site using Version 7.5.8, and I'm on two vBulletin-run sites. I'm not having the log in issues on them. It is just software. What could go wrong!?

Texas Fishing Forum's on 7.5.8 and it's doing the exact same thing since the upgrade. I bet J.P.'s crew will figure it out soon.

This issue is happening randomly on all of them. True....but for me it happens constantly on Explorer and almost never on Chrome. Facebook is much faster on Chrome for me too. Browsing "google images" is tons faster on Chrome as well. I am slowly weaning myself away from Explorer. It's pretty easy to do.... Use both all the time. When you get frustrated something is slow Switch to Chrome and it usually gets much faster.

Just between "Have Gun Will Travel" and "Gunsmoke". The rest of the time I'm researching Krav Maga sleeper holds. You never know when one will be needed.

I understand the challenges of software updates and bugs may appear when a major upgrade happens. I would also like to thank the moderators and Dwight for all they do for this site. I understand that the effort they put forward is for an appreciation for this site. I know it is a volunteer basis. I was making sure this issue was known.

I use IE, and have not had any problems with it logging PB off while in use.
The wife liked Chrome, but eventually there were problems with that to the point the techs couldn't figure it out and they told her not to use it anymore and switched to one I had not heard of. It just didn't seem like Chrome was compatible in her combination of computer settings.

Noticed several UBB sites kept my logins active this morning. Fixed perhaps?
