I bought my mother a subscription to Pond Boss Magazine. She is 90 and has lived in an assisted living facility for about a year now. This is an excerpt of an email she sent me after getting her first issue. I like her attitude (the last few sentences).
Thanks for my first issue of "Pond Boss Magazine”. I must not have known much about ponds, and I'm only a few pages into it. I can't help thinking how much my Dad would have enjoyed the magazine. I thought it would be more like a pamphlet; but it is so much more than that. It will probably take me the three months to absorb all of it. I'm considering it a one year gift; as I have been here a year on Friday. This last year was a big improvement over the previous year. I am quite well and have made many new friends. They all seem to have more problems than I do, even the employees.

It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
