i fish my pond quite a bit. 1 acre behind our house. i catch alot of 1-4 lb bass, alot of which have "bite" marks on them. is this normal? are the bass just being territorial? also ive noticed on a very few amount of my small bass, they have a bummp underneath their chin, almost like a skin tag. what is that?

Since the spawning season for LMB is just about over, it could be from protecting their nests.

Skin tag may be leeches, they often attach in that area...
