Not that I've heard. I'd call the PB office. If they don't offer any, I wonder if you talked to them, and got the O.K. to use the P.B. logo if you could get a local sign printing shop to make them?

I've never seen one in particular but I'd say 3x5 maybe or 2x4", did you mean me or Jwann?

I would guess that decals with each having a different individual name is cost prohibitive.

Any decal would be fine with me. Even just a logo one with the website. You would think they would have them in the PB Store for advertisement.

They would be easy to make. You could use a good copier and some "Avery" labels that come 10-20 per sheet depending on the size wanted. Baseball size would only get six per sheet.

We've got decals. They were in the "goody bag" at the conference.
I'll ask the girls in the office how many we have left.

Yeah and that would be illegal copyright infringement smile

This year I feel like the bags are on a revolving turnstyle. Get back from the Conference, pack bags for deer hunting in Wi. Get back from there, unpack/repack for Elk hunting in Colorado. Get home for a bit and packed for Texas. Just now unpacking the hunting stuff and putting it away, but gotta keep out the stuff for Waterfowl and Coyotes. Goose season is in until 2-15, and we really need to thin out the 'yote population on the farm.

Hey Randy,

Been there done that -- with other failures. Like Bob and Mike O., and maybe even you, I've been in the printing a graphics business.

Bumper stickers, window stickers, decals, etc., all have their own chemistry and printing requirements. Unfortunately, off-the-shelf products still aren't there, at least not from the big names like Avery.

However, and I'm not pushing Bob, but bumper stickers and window labels aren't very expensive. Most walk-in quick printers and commercial printing companies don't do their own. They rely on companies that specialize in "labels" and who have very unique printing equipment, inks, substrates, glues, etc.

When we were still in the quick-print business, we could get next day (probably 2-day) bumper stickers, window decals, etc.

But, yes, most of us who have attended any of the Pond Boss conferences should have bumper-sticker quality Pond Boss stickers.

I packed one duffel bag for the trip to Texas. I still unpacked clean clothes from it. (The duffel bag WAS larger than the 120 qt. coolers that I also packed tho). smile

But it IS unpacked, and the laundry is even done, folded and put away! grin

Ken, since we are twins it would only be natural that we were both in the printing business. Me for 27 years (sold out in 2000). We printed labels and bumper stickers
all the time, and this was on old AB Dick 1250s and a 4c Heidelberg. It really is a lot easier and less expensive to order on line.
BGK, I was only making a suggestion. I'm retired and not looking for work. smile

Heck, Randy, you and Ken are older than dirt so I'm surprised neither one of you talked about experience using the Gutenberg style presses in your respective businesses! grin

Sorry, I know that was cheap, but it just seemed like it needed to be lobbed out there this afternoon! All in fun, my friends!

First -- everyone should believe in parallel universes! crazy

As for the Gutenbergs, we aren't quite that old But, there were still a lot of old letterpresses around in my day -- and I'm sure Randy's.

In a print shop you could always spot the letterpress operators. They usually only had one thumb, and one or more of their other fingers were usually a little short. grin

if ya have new decals made...I suggest an oval with a border

oval stickers with a border have a certain upscale/warm feel

and whatever ya do...so they can find us
don't forget to put the PondBoss URL on the sticker!

I would prefer something that goes on the inside of a window as opposed to the outside of a bumper, just in case new stickers are being considered.

Zep, that's just what we need.
Ken, we had an old letterpress and actually used it to score & perf and number. It was old and slow, kinda like Dave.
Todd, I heard that your wife called 911 last summer and said "I think my husband's dead", the operator said what makes you think that he's dead, and your wife said, "well, the sex is the same, but the grass hasn't been mowed in two weeks"...

Good idea Sunil, my PB sticker is getting pretty ragged after a few years on my window. Something to affix on the inside would prevent this moving forward.

Guys,
I just called the office. We actually didn't put the stickers in the goody bags...we had them on the table in the Pond Boss booth.
I've asked LeighAnn to scan one and send it to me and I'll put it on this thread. We bought 200 of them for $.75 each.
