Greg Grimes has done it again! He has introduced us to yet another cool toy: Video Glasses.- Greg's thread is here - My mind is spinning with the myriad of potential uses. - I can see an entirely new forum category....no, make it an entirely new website just for video-glasses vid clips. It would take the PB forum, though, to list all the new videos we can expect. Let's get started...

My first thoughts where for deer/turkey hunting and fishing. I have vidoed these activities before and had one aired on Cabela's memories in the field. Not sure the glasses would give a high enough resolution for a show like that but would be fine for personal collections. FYI, I checked with the company offering the glasses and they can take prescription lense so those of us that ware glasses already are good to go.

I have seen these on the Internet and thought about getting a pair but they are pretty expensive with prescription lenses. But then, cost isn't really much of a hindrance if you really need a pair. They are out of specification for Minnesota Winter unless you have a hot nose. I know of several nose heating beverages.

Industrial Espionage! Note the glasses. I was just at a meeting yesterday at a new company that has a patented new product. I was making a proposal to be the exclusive designer and builder of the equipment needed to manufacture this product as it would be satellited around the world. They have a new (empty) building they are prepping up with security. They were very happy that all of the electronic door locks they just installed actually worked. Next step is to finalize paperwork and get the lawyers involved before the ink dries. I have been in many situations with secure locations. One time I had to make a trip to a former Union Carbide plant in Greenville, SC. An intern was directed to give me a tour. The time for the meeting was getting close so he made a detour and took me through the heart of their restricted Laboratory. Needless to say, I got a grilling as to what I observed, camera and belongings were inspected. I don't know what happened to the intern. The company I worked for got the contract for the equipment. I do know how to put paper within 2 inches of a plasma flame that is 70,000 degrees K, without burning it. They may have to come in an OSHA approved safety glass style

OOOOOH! I could also see these handy for those with equipment that requires both hands for operation.
Like when I am knocking down trees or ripping stumps out of the ground with the Bobcat. That would be cool.
I'll start a new thread on an attachment I made for a skidloader that is very effective at popping out stumps. Can't buy one anyplace.

Oh boy what did I start now. Ok I will let you know when first pairs are in. You will not beat price anywhere if you do let me know. They will be at the ATA show next week (archery) and I feel they may run low on supply. If you do think you got some extra money for this toy give me a heads up. I gotta get 4 in at a time.
