I stumbled across this article last night on Field & Stream's website. Just in case you felt like you needed to spend more money on your pond addiction. I know I found some good candidates for the tackle bin (yes a bin, consists of 3 tackle boxes, 5 gal bucket, and all necessary fishing equip.) Anyway enjoy...BTW IMO the curly tail grub (chartreuse) is the most versatile lure of all time. 50 Greatest Lures of All-Time Of course it's also fun to debate their choices...No Bucktail, are you kidding me?

I have either owned or still have most of them. However, it does appear to be more Northern oriented. Not a lot of spoons or metal lures thrown down South. We're more structure oriented instead of open water.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.
