...at the Sunbelt Ag Expo in Moultrie, GA. I wasn't aware that Greg was going to be there and I found out 5 minutes after he began a presentation. I wish I would have had some time to visit, but I was with my neighbor Mr H and we had important stuff to do. Greg, it was nice meeting you and if you come back next year I'll be ready (with annoying questions designed to disrupt).

GW, just send send him emails or PMs.
Greg stays 'connected' all the time.
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

I don't want to annoy him in such an impersonal way, I'll wait to heckle him in person. I had to bite my tongue when the topic of Bowfin came up because I think the crowd would have turned on me if I said anything negative about LMB. I'm going to stock LMB, but only after the Pike, Bowfin and Gar are established. I dare the bass to take over the pond then.

GW, GW. Sometimes you have to risk the wrath of the crowd to get your point across. At the Pond Boss convention, I wore my GSA shirt on the first day and then stood to full attention and saluted when Wild Bill Cody displayed the glorius GSA logo.
Greg is a great guy. My one regret from the convention is that we were never able to have much time to talk to each other. Seemed like 19 things were always happening at the same time.

JHAP, I know we suffer persecution for our love of underrated Lepomis, but at least they're still sunfish. The shame of promoting bowfin as a LMB alternative is just too risky.
Maybe someday our society will evolve to the point where all fish are seen as equal and important members of the aquatic community.

GW you of course did not introduce yourself until afterwords, but I think I did not slam the bowfin, whew luckily you might have came down on me in fronot of that HUGE crowd. Itis kinda of a neat bonus fish to catch at times. Good meeting you and yes sorry I did not get to talk to you more. Also regret not getting to talk with the "has pond clan" while in TX. GW big crowd huh? I had crowds of 6 and 8 on previous days. The guy I was talking with has met with Bob and Ray Scott so it finalized some good things that he plans to accomplish so hard to pull away from that conversation after the talk.
The blackberry was not too helpful this week b/c of spotty verizon coverage.

I did notice you were kind to the bowfin Greg. You may have a future in politics! Maybe someday I can hire you to analyze my bowfin/gar/pike/bass/warmouth/redear pond.

Our recent meeting shows how you can never know when there might be a pondbosser in the crowd scrutinizing every word and fighting back the urge to heckle.
