Does anyone know how to control this? Ever sense the big rains 2 weeks ago the sediment is so thick that the bremuda grass is starting to sprout all over the surface of my ponds. \:D
Seriously I have never seen this much brown water in the 10 years they have been built. After 2 weeks they are barely starting to show signs of settling.

Eddie did your pond ever clear or improve it self? Just curious I know you were concerned about it when it first filled up.

Rockytopper,

Yes, my water is steadily clearing. I don't know how much visibility I have, but I can see through it for a short distnace. It's also taken on a new tint. Not brown anymore, but more of a very deep green.

Eddie

It's not how many ideas you have, but how many you make happen.

RT,

Bermuda can't grow under water very long. It will eventually die back to the banks.

Congrats Eddie, glad to here things are playing out for you. I generally have a problem of my water clearing out to much and algae taking over. The visibility was probably 5 to 6 feet before the rains. I guess the wet season springs here cause that. I was going to start a post on request for help on the best way to control this blue die etc... but now it appears it will be a little longer into the summer before I have to worry with that problem.
