Hi, I'm new to this site and ponds. I'm looking for a pond consultant in the Atlanta area (McDonough).
I have 2-3 acres of former pasture near a large creek that looks suitable.
One possible problem is that this creek flooded this prospective site about 10 yrs ago.
TIA, David

some folks call it a sling blade, I call it a keiser blade .. sorry slingblade I couldn't resist that. Greg Grimes is in Georga & would be my choice if I were there. He'll be answering your post soon or you can go to one of his posts, click on his profile & send him an e-mail. Ric

Dude, Greg is the man He's one of those pond managers who is more interested in helping people grow quality fish than he is in putting money in his own pocket. And ontop of that, he's just cool.
good luck with your pond-to-be -Scott
Take great care of it, or let someone else have it.

Greg, Yes I got it. Like you warned me .. it's not easy reading but was very intresting. I haven't been able to use the info in an article yet but am sure I will as I'm always being pressed to write one. Thanks, Ric

Thanks for the referral everyone. Greg and I are going to meet on Monday.
Ric that is one of my favorite movies. Now, does anyone know where I can get some mustard for these biscuits?
I am active on many types of forum. I am amazed (impressed) at the number of people who responded and how quickly they responded. Ya'll have a great forum here.
Thanks, David

Slingblade, One of the Great ones. Coffee kinda makes me nervous when I drink it .. uhh hu Glad you got togeather with Greg. I spent the last two days on a loader digging/filling the core & laying the drain pipe on my pond. Ric
