does anyone know if a nutria will do damage to a pond or fish?

Tim, Here is a link to info about Nutria: http://www.nationaltrappers.com/nutria.html Basicly they can do much more damage than muskrats. Ric Forgot to mention .. Females can breed & newborns can eat vegitation within hours of birth!

Thanks Ric for info - as of last evening there is one less nutria on my property - tough little dudes to hunt! There may be more in my pond so I have to keep an eye out Thanks again

Thanks for that link. I've been meaning to renew my member with the Illinois Trappers Association, but had lost contact. Now I find that the national convention will be held just a few hours away in August. :-)
