My pond's surface temp is 66 F. Will likely go down a few degrees tonight & tomorrow, but should begin rising Monday (74 high forecast) and Tuesday (80 high). After Tuesday, temps forecast to stay around 75 high and 50 low rest of week.
BG aren't spawning yet, LMB likely already have.
Thinking about fertilizing Monday or Tuesday when water is above 65. Any thoughts from veteran pondmeisters?
PS My pond is infertile, with around 3.5 to 4 feet visibility. Limed again last fall.

It is time to fert. so that the yoy hatchlings have plenty to eat. Start slow and see how the water reacts. You can add more but cant take it back.
