Whomever used their phones during the day to either call, text or check on e-mail, etc. can you please tell me how the signal was and who you have for a service provider? I'm looking at switching from AT&T because I have terrible service with them at the house. I'd like to see if anyone is better.

I think I can start with me and go right to JKB.
Me. AT&T Motorola Tundra phone 0-1 bar. Signal is terrible.
JKB. AT&T Terrible signal.

AT&T on my iphone........and I was able to receive texts....eventually! Terrible signal.

It was really bad on my Atrix. I was fussing with my phone and Cecil looked over and apologized, not knowing what's up.

I have heard of several people getting AT&T to tune/adjust the nearby towers to provide better service at their location. Although, it may take several calls and complaints to get it done. If you have multiple people who have the same problem, which you obviously do, you can use that as leverage to have them help...its obviously not just your phone.

If your contract is up, I would just switch. Verizon has the best network but I can't say how it is in your area.

In my area, Verizon completes outpaces AT&T.

Verizon-3 bars, Saturday. My phone is about 10 years old too.

My house, AT-T gets a much better signal. We can't use our phones @ home unless we climb a tree.

I have Verizon and am using an iPhone.. Needless to say my phone went dead before 2 in the afternoon and had to be plugged in...It was constantly searching for a signal and flipping back and forth from nothing to 3G or LTE... After charging I switched it to airplane mode and just turned that off when I wanted to check for text or messages..

I switch from traditional cell phone plans to Net-10 about 5 months ago. From what I have heard they use the same towers as AT&T. I save about $100 dollars a month compared to what I spent with Sprint. I have used my phone all over and have had very good results. My only criticism would be that their data is not near as fast as Sprint and I have nothing good to say about their customer service. They recruited from the absolute bottom of the barrel. It is well worth the savings.
