Does anyone know of a good site or a link on the PBF that explains the use of pond skimmers and how they work and setup and all that good stuff? Is there some kind of device you can put behind your boat and row around your pond to skim it? Any info on this subject would be great thanks.

Don't think I've ever heard of that.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Although I strongly doubt their cost-effectiveness ($$$) for typical veg-control situations, the concept might have merit under certain circumstances > WEEDOO

Ummmmm no I don't think so! No offence Nate! Esshup you got the right idea a big old prickly rope! Tie it to the back of your boat and just start rowing around. I may have to give that a shot.

Am I the only one that looked at the different boat models to see if WEEDOO offered a fishing version?

Hijacked Thread Alert: This is a much more efficient fishing-option. Easy to board/launch - and is probably tougher and less costly to maintain than fiberglass in the long-run.

Am I the only one that looked at the different boat models to see if WEEDOO offered a fishing version? This is a major rip-off of Dwight's Barge Raker project! Dwight, if you want to sue these clowns for stealing your concept, let me know!

A PVC pipe capped at both ends wrapped with wire for tines (like a rake) and a rope tied to both ends to pull it with. I've modified a large leaf rake with adjustable tines on a twenty foot extension pole for raking along the shore.
