I recently purchased a new house in Afton NY with a 1 acre pond, about 330 long and 110 at it widest and about 16-18 feet deep throughout. Here are some pics.

Congratulations, that looks like a nice pond.

What do you know about it? Fish? History? Water Source?

Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:"
"She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

im a newbie on ponds but the native fish are large mouthbass, bluegill and bullheads. i added 100 rainbow trout 14 inch ,70 yellow perch 3-5 inch , 40 channel cats 6-8 inch and 4000 fathead minnows. the pond is spring fed and also water comes of a mountain into it, i put a bucket under the flow and it averaged out to 350-400 gallons a hour

I don't think so... It would be very rare for the trout to reproduce if impossible, so you don't have to worry about them taking over. Depending on a number of factors, your trout may not survive year round in your pond as well. So they may end up becoming a put and take style fishery. In all likelihood, they will not affect your pond dynamics at all. Just a nice little bonus fish...
