The folks next door had a pond dug right after I had mine done. His is a bit smaller than mine and maybe 10 feet deep. I was talking with him the other day and he told me he had caught 70 LMB and 6 perch and put them in his pond. Thats all thats in there.......... Will the LMB start to die off do to lack of food?
brand new, never before used 1/4 acre pond.

Yep; he got it all backward. However, a lot of them should be easy to catch and remove.
It's not about the fish. It's about the pond. Take care of the pond and the fish will be fine. PB subscriber since before it was in color.

Boy, if I say "sic em", you'd better look for something to bite. Sam Shelley Rancher and Farmer Muleshoe Texas 1892-1985 RIP
