Two questions guys one where can I buy talapia in Southern Indiana? I am thinking about putting some in next year in the spring for algae control. I want to get some lined up for then. Second question how many per acre would you put in?

John, take a look at the other thread running right now about "Tilapia-this years thread" page 8 may have answered your question
1/4 & 3/4 acre ponds. A thousand miles from no where and there is no place I want to be... Dwight Yoakam

John,
The only one I know of in Indiana according to that thread is
a Jason Bradley of Aqua-Manna in Ladoga IN at 765-942-7127
I may contact him myself.
It's not quite southern Indiana but there are fish haulers in the state that could haul for you. It's also possible you could haul some in a large cooler as they don't require a lot of oxygen. Maybe a simple live well etc. or air stone would suffice.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.
