I think we have a serious problem with our pond. Not sure what to do or where to start. Contacted the PA Fish & Boat commission on this past Friday. But not sure if anyone from that office will come to look at our pond...trying to reach out for help from anyone who could suggest. The weather here has been temps of 80 degrees and lots of unusual rain and cloudy days for our area. A cold rain came through about a week ago and I had to remove a lot of my Bass and smaller fish. I believe that the spawning has already taken place so hopefully I will have some luck if I get new fish. I've been reading a lot of information on internet. Will Barley Bales help? Does anyone like Cutrine-Plus® product? The pond is approximately 800 x 800 ft. In sort of a kidney shape.

Really appreciate any help or ideas?

Advance Thank You,

Hope my file pictures can be seen, please ask if cannot see them I used the File Manader to upload them.

Try searching for threads on controlling duckweed.

Duckweed is usually a symptom of a larger problem and indicates an aging pond.
