Hey guys / gals

I want to build a 24ft dock on my pond and was wondering if anyone has has any expierence in this area? I want to make it a floating dock like on plastic 55 gallon drumbs. Does anyone know how many drumbs I should use for 24 foot of dock or any instructions or a website I could go to? I want to make the dock 24ft long by 40inches wide with a 6 to 8ft ramp.

Thanks,
RC

Another option would be to use styrofoam billets. You can probably get them in whatever size you want and it's pretty inexpensive. I built a 12x12 floating dock with a 30inch wide by 12ft walkway. I used 4- 2'x6'x1' and 2-2'x8'x1' billets for flotation. If I remember correctly, the styrofoam was around $350

Working hard so others don't have to.
