Out of the many different available (freebie) on-line aerial photo sites, each of us has varying degrees of the most recent photo. I have found an aerial photo shot on Mapquest that I want to "swipe" and copy as a file to my computer. Can this be done? How?

Do you want to do something like this? I dont remember how I did this but do a search for Screen capture. It is some combination of keys.

Sure...that would work I could use a photo editor to crop out the stuff that I don't want.

Try the keystokes "Q" "%" "`"
Then hit "|" and ENTER, and that should do it.

you can save a screenshot by pressing printscreen, opening a photo program (I like IRFAN), pasting, save as....

That's the way my teenager taught me to do it.

here's another way......go on web, find and download the small but useful program called "printkey" its a screen capture utility. from printkey you can save as a jpeg and modify as you wish.
