Hello! I have a 1/4 acre reservoir, man made 65 years ago, 12 foot at the deepest, fed by ditch water spring to fall. Perfect Ph levels. Am anticipating being able to divert less water from the ditch this year due to lack of snow fall, and was wondering about adding well water. I've read about needing to aerate the well water and to add slowly. The well water is high in hydrogen sulfide and saline, so I'm wondering if there are other problems that could be cause by adding my well water to the pond. Thank you!
