Does anyone know where you can get your water tested for quality and bacteria and such things?

My local county farm agent will run a variety of tests including coliform bacteria. The charges are minimal - from $10-$15 for each test. The local agent sends the water sample to a lab a the University of Georgia.

In town, ask the Water Dept. If in the country, call the County or ask the well driller. Maybe ask the neighbors.
In Texas, we call the County Health Dept.
