I was wondering if it would be beneficial to seed my pond with an algae that is high in protein, so I end up with bigger fatter fish in my pond?

LOL, They have an "Algae Hotline"
I was looking to see what type of algae has a higher protein content.
Algae is at the beginning of the food chain.
I was wondering if it would be good to seed my pond with an algae that has a lot more protein content.
I laughed when reading the description for the Amazon product, because it said they have an "Algae Hotline"

This is from their Amazon information:
WHICH ONE TO PICK: We have a big variety of different kits to pick from but if you call our "Algae Hotline" for our scientists, we will help with your projects or questions you may have. We have more information on our website including instructional videos at www.algaeresearchsupply.com

I did not call their "Algae Hotline" but I did email "Algae Research Supply" and asked them what freshwater algae would be best for raising tilapia.
They said "Algae Culture Chlorella Vulgaris" and sent me this link:

https://algaeresearchsupply.com/products/algae-culture-chlorella-vulgaris

I looked up that strain and according to Wikipedia:
"Chlorella vulgaris" is a green microalgae mainly used as a dietary supplement or protein-rich food additive in Japan." It has more than 50% protein by dry weight! One article said it may be the next soy!
So that answered my question about is being high in protein.
My question is, would it be beneficail or not to seed my pond with this algae?

I think this particular species quite nearly has global distribution. But could be wrong. Your BOW will have members of this genus if not this particular strain. The Genus chlorella is a preferred phytoplankton for many organisms. You could introduce some to your BOW but not sure it will change much for you. Fertilizing will increase their reproduction and the presence of tilapia will tend to favor them due to tilapia consumption of cyanobacteria.

I ordered a pure sample of the strain. I am going to build a few bioreactors a start growing it to feed clams I have in a tank. I may set up a 55 gallon clear plastic drum on my dock and start growing the pure strain in it and dump in a barrel every week and see it I can get it to take over and increase the growth of micro organisms on up. A project for next early spring and fertilize.
I want to try to feed it to my tilapia when they get big enough to put -n large tanks. They are just fry now.
