So something I have learned in my planted aquariums, and forgot until I made the mistake again... hand moisturizers like Working Hands have a very negative effect on plants in my aquarium. It doesn't take much to wipe out coon tails and eel grass.
Example, after a normal treatment on my hands I fed my fish in a 28 gallon aquarium. A few days later the coon tails and eel grass all but died.
I wonder what is in it that can so severely effect plant growth? It doesn't seem to touch algae though.
