I treated for FA and chara about a week ago with dissolved CuSO4. FA is down and chara is dying nicely. I treated half the pond and plan to wait another week before treating the second half. My water is now tea colored to brownish and visibility is down to 18". I'm just wondering if this is the start of a bloom. Visibility has held consistant for 2 days. Thanks for your help guys and gals!

I think it's the dead photoplankton from the copper sulphate.

So if your pond stays like this is it a good or bad thing.

My pond is this color but I have not killed off any plants or tried to fertilize.

Just want to know if there is something I should be concerned with or do to change what I have?

Should I fertilize to start a phyto bloom after I treat the second half this week??
