I have 3/4 acre pond with very mature Koi. I have some string algae that has developed on
one of the banks. It comes out 10'-15' from the
bank and runs about 40' feet along the bank. Should I try and treat it or will it go away with the warmer weather? I don't think I can use any of the copper methods as it will harm the Koi. I live in north Texas and we have had a very wet June, only a few days over 90 degrees.

With that small amount I would rake it out if you don't want it. I tend to leave some in my pond for the fry to hang out in and feed from. I'm not sure how Cutrine Plus would affect Koi, but it works well on algae and I have never had it kill any fish.
