What is this? It has sprung up in some wet areas of my field that I'm going to be enhancing into wetlands over the course of the summer. Should I move it to the shore line of the pond? Looks OK. I thought it was arrowhead, but all the pics on line have a much different shaped leaf.

Alisma subcordatum (American water plantain)
After searching for some pics on that, I believe you are right.
It looks like it will grow on the fringe of the pond and not move into deep water or on the dry upland.
