Hi all Since I have not had a single answer to my questions about the solar system and being completely ignorant about electricity stuff, I will try to find an arrangement with the neighbor to keep the pump somewhere near him. By doing so from the pump to the point where I would put the manifold I would need to bury 1000' of 1" poly pipe, then from the manifold would start 2 weighted airlines of 100' which would bring air to 2 stations, with 2x9" membrane diffuser each, requiring a minimum of 2 cfm each placed on the muck at 7' depth. If and when the muck will be digested the depth could reach the original bottom at 10/11'. So long story short I need a compressor that pump enough air at the right pressure to have at least 4 cfm at 11' depth, after traveling 1000' inside a 1' poly pipe and 100' inside a 3/8' (or 1/2', what diameter do you recommend?) weighted airline. I have the opportunity to buy a rotary vane, which seems to be quieter and more fitting a shallow pond like mine. What specifications should it have?
