Pond is approx 1 surface acre, very shallow sides, except for dam, and in front of dam maybe 12 feet deep. Power is available. Have pretty much ruled out windmill and solar. could use single or multiple diffusers. There is a budget, but not unreasonable. Have two recirc pumps already, one for fountains, one for end to end recirc. General shape of pond is traingle. I might be able to put it off until next Spring, but if not I better get on it.

PF, just to help clarify, is the dam on one of the long ends, or at one of the points?

The dam is the base of the triangle, with a spillway just off center of it. The inlet is the high point of the triangle. It is shallow there, maybe 12-18" first 50 feet. A lot of mud and silt has collect there over the years. I'm going to make that a bog filter if they buy the proposal. Recirc from dam end into it.

I'm going to price some systems today. I'll weight my own lines. This will just be part of the solution, but a integral part I think.
