I thought I would share the growth progress of my CNBG. Narrated by my 2 year old daughter. Shows 4months 1week of growth.

1-2" CNBG stocked 5-12-12, video taken 9-20-12.

I am picking up 200 RES and 9 lbs of FHM tomorrow morning to add.
Hopefully will be introducing LMB this spring.

Thanks for the video. Guys this video shows what typically happens in a new southern pond. The 2in BG stocked in May have spawned once and possibly twice. The original stockers are now 4 + inches and have 2 sets of offspring in the pond.

You are correct. They have spawned twice from what i can tell. There are 3 distinct sizes of BG in the pond. The original brood which are 4-5" the first spawn are currently 2-3" and a another round that are 1-2" and they all love to eat.

It seems the few 10-12" CC that I have caught and released have not put a damper on the BG. I still haven't figured out how they got into the pond.

I have only been feeding for a month and a half. The food I am currently feeding is purina game fish chow. When I run out I plan to have my feed store order me a bag of AM400 or 500
