Not to be a stickler, Kelly B, but when you do get to a hatchery, you'll be wanting FAThead minnows, and maybe some type of SHAD.
Threadfin Shad might be the ticket, however, gizzard shad can be more trouble then benefit as they can get too large to be eaten by your predator fish.
