That photo reminds me of fishing several years ago in the Sea of Cortez. One of the fellow anglers on my boat hooked up a decent sized tuna and as per usual the fish fought him for quite a while. He finally got it near the boat when a shark came out of nowhere and bit the tuna in two. He ended up landing just the head of the tuna.
That same trip we saw many sharks in the water. I believe they were mako sharks but it has been so many years I am not sure.
