No fishing gear for the wife and I, but we bought the kids there own rod and reel fishing kits. It was really fun to see the exitement in the 6 year old when he opened his "own" tackle box!!! That realy got him going. hahaha
The small pond should be good to start fishing it in the spring, but he big one will be another year or two until it's ready to catch anything.
Santa did bless us with over 2 inches of rain!!!
