Update; the PH tested at 8.2. I took three jars of water, one I added vinegar,one I added gypusm both at the rate of 1/4 tps to 1 qt water,and the other nothing was added. Only the one with the gypsum shows any improvement after 20 hours.
Also I noticed that all of the pipes and rocks that are in the water are covered with about 1/8-1/4 inch of a brownish slippery slime?
