The ponds full, the fish are growing, the grass is green, the shops done and I m bored. I want to do some landscaping or something around the pond to give it that “oh wow that’s neat “ look. I m open to any and all ideas.

I would say put a hole with a flag in it some where around the pond. Man! It looks like a golf course. Very nice.
In Dog Beers, I've had one.

Holy smokes! In my wildest dreams would my pond ever look that manicured. Beautiful.
Seriously, I'd watch those cattails. You have a potential hostile takeover on your hands.
Are you feeding your fish. If so, that's one way to impress the friends and neighbors. Fish feeding is crazy fun when the fish are agressive.

A dock or pier is nice to add.
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

Ditto Sunil on the dock and how about some shade to fish from when it gets hot. How about a dock with a place for a cover or one of those big beach umbrellas.

Yeah, I like docks and piers. There are some good Pond Boss magazine articles on such things. You should check some back issues of Pond Boss to reference some excellent dock/pier ideas.

Picnic table, cold beer and shade is all you need:)
That is a nice pond. I wish I could manicure mine so it looked that nice.

Jim,
What state are you in? Farther south of me I'm sure as we are getting 4 inches of snow tonight and you've got green grass.
If pigs could fly bacon would be harder to come by and there would be a lot of damaged trees.

CB1, I was in Indy today on business and we ended up at the flower and patio show. I met a biologist from Jones Fish hatcheries from Newton Ohio. Do you know them? It was nice to talk fish and ponds while the wife shopped.

Thanks CB1 I just did a search on golden shiners and found info on Jones too. I found that Theo has bought fish from them with good results.

I know for a fact there are over 200 golf balls and two golf clubs in the bottom of the pond, beer and golf don’t mix well.
I do like the bald cypress idea.
Ponds to small for a boat
I have been thinking about a dock
The pic was taken last summer from a crane 90’ up in the air.
Four years, 200 dump truck loads of dirt hauled off, 7000 pounds of grass seed, 200 sprinkler heads, three water wells, fighting State, county and local officials, 1000 pounds of fish, 4000 pounds of fish food and a couple hundred cases of Bud Lite I thought I was done. It never ends….I love it!

Funny, I didn't think golf balls or clubs would make for good structure. Seriously, the place looks great, I only wish I could get grass like that around my pond.

We left out the sand traps.
FYI the paddle boats haul a lot of bud lite on ice, 400 bucks at TSC.
