I once used nothing but motor oil. Then my brother, who knows a lot of East Texas Lumberjacks, told me all of the Pro's use Dura Tac or some other regional brand.
I also found it to be cheaper than good motor oil. I've switched but would still use the motor oil if I ever run out of the good stuff.
Hey, ML, I bought a 12 volt chain sharpener. Works great. I never was much good with the file.
