This question falls in the category of "nothing on TV and wife out of town"... I was thinking how great it would be if all or even a higher % of posters who ask a question based on a problem would come back and tell us how they ended up fixing the problem and did it work or not. Often, it seems we get posters who pose very interesting situations and we all chime in with our suggestions, but it seems we don't often enough get the benefit of feedback on what actually happened. What worked and what didn't work. Okay, I admit, too much time on my hands. Remember the leaky ponds that "scisms" was so worried about and several offered suggestions to help. Mr. Sullivan's problem recently and we never heard anything. Just think if we got a higher % on the feedback, couldn't we all increase our collective knowledge more? I suppose that is wishful thinking, but I sure "wish" we could get more feedback from posters on what worked for them and what didn't.

I think that would be great. It would possibly make it easier if we could have a list of our personal post under our profile page. I know in the past I have looked back and could not remember where the post was at. I could easily see my previous post and say I remember that and put in my results. For some of us the results may be months if not longer down the road and the post may even be forgotten. I know it would be alot of work to do such a change but it was just a thought. I appologize for all the rambling I do here on this site but I appreciate all that is accomplish here for me and the numerous others that visit here. Once again my 2 cents.
Just another 1 acre hole in the ground...........with fish !!!

Good point, Meadowlark. In the same vein of thought, what is the progress with your young poaching friends?
And we're still waiting on Jersey's story too.
Excerpt from Robert Crais' "The Monkey's Raincoat:" "She took another microscopic bite of her sandwich, then pushed it away. Maybe she absorbed nutrients from her surroundings."

we're still waiting on Jersey's story too That could take until the Statute of Limitations runs out. Whatever it is, the longer we wait, the better I think the story must be. I concur more post-problem feedback would be useful. I also like longterm updates, e.g. "here's what happened in my pond a year after we discussed what I was planning to do."

Originally posted by Sunil: what is the progress with your young poaching friends? They may be young, but they are not friends. The story is still unfolding. You may recall, they were supposed to come forward and apologize and offer restitution one week after being caught in the act. Two weeks later and nothing. I'm now working my way up the chain of command...Sherrif, Texas Ranger, District Attorney, and as last resort civil law suite. Those "kids" are making a big mistake by not coming forward. I would have dropped everything if they had the right attitude...would have even let them fish occasionally, but not this way. I will spend as much money as it takes, do whatever it takes to make them face their victim and take account for their actions. The story continues and updates will be provided.
