I can tell ya from experience with the state, if you stock enough (too many-by accident) they'll take everything out, BUT.. they prefer the common sunfish shape over other fish.. we don't know why.
The numbers we use are 8 per acre max for panfish control without making an impact on other species.
As a main predator, 20-25 per acre can be used but they will work on the LMB, YP in some manner as reproduction of those species is abundant.
Where you have fairly consistent fishing pressure, you could jump-start the process by stocking more initially and advising customers at year 1 post-stock to pull a certain number for the skillet.
