I'm kind of split on this. I can be protective of my pond also. My first thought is liability. However, I'd rather see kids fishing then up to no good. If they we courteous, didn't do any damage and followed the rules they could be helpful. Get their names, parents phone numbers and they might even help you out in a jam someday. Rules include , fishing regulations, no fires, no trash left, pick up trash if they see it, no illegal anything and only they can fish not their friends. Just my thoughts.
