I am currently raising/overwintering a tank full of scuds from SD in my shop here in NE Kansas.Since moving the tank to the shop I have noticed an explosion in scuds, but also bloodworms. I assume I probably have bloodworms
In my pond naturally, but I’ve never really noticed them. Would these be beneficial to add to my pond?

Bloodworms are larval stage of midge flies in the family Chironomidae genus Chironomus. Larval stages can tolerate low dissolved oxygen. All developmental stages are ready eaten by most all small and medium size fish, In good conditions they can develop very high densities in pond sediments.
