While walking around the pond found 3 Jelly like blobs about the size of a football and appearance like a brain corral. Also saw two more the size of a lemon.

Google image search says they might be a freshwater bryozoan

While neighbor's friend's daughter the marine biologist says might be Frog Eggs

My son says it's definitely aliens (humor)

What's the consensus here? Something beneficial and leave in the pond? Who knows, best to remove?

Pond is about 1 and 3/4 acres of surface area located in middle of North Carolina. Koi, Grass Carp, Blue Gill, Large Mouth bass all swim here. Fed by runoff, no stream or river feed.

We do have a heron that stops by for brunch every few days so it must be finding tasty fish.

Bryozoan is my limited experienced opinion. I'd leave them alone. Bryozoan's are typically a sign of good water quality.

Agree with QA. Bryozoans and an indicator of good water quality.

Well glad it likely is not Aliens. That would create too much excitement.

I like it quite with few visitors

If Bryozoans cool! Don't know it was the 2 dozen grass carp, pond dye or nasty herbicides but seems the Water shield is mostly gone.
